Superman Vs. The Hulk Finally Realized in Fan Made CGI Project
I couldn’t help but smile to myself when I came across mhabjan‘s CGI Youtube project called Superman Vs. The Hulk: The Meeting. The reason for my cheekiness is the fact that many geeks around the world, myself included, have passionately debated the whole Superman versus the Hulk debate. In fact, my group of gaming buddies just discussed this fan scenario in regards to who would win in a battle between Hulk and Clark Kent’s alter ego a few weeks ago during a Gears of War 3 multiplayer session. Both sides brought up good points, and if we were all in the same room I think there may have been a fist fight or two, but one thing was clear, and that’s the fact that fandom of any kind spawns strong opinions on both sides of the coin. I personally believe that Superman would be the victor in this dream battle, but there were others who felt just as strongly about the Hulk’s case for victory.
Up until now this DC versus Marvel super battle has never been envisioned in comic, or animated form, but mhabjan‘s CGI project should help to spark up the debate again. His unauthorized (by Marvel or DC) student project is nothing short of spectacular, but it isn’t canon, so don’t go trolling on us for showcasing his spin on the matter. His ‘Meeting’ project obviously is influenced by his own opinion on Superman and the Hulk, so it’s result isn’t official by any means, nor is this project complete.
What’s more important than the outcome is the fact that this is some slick a*s looking CGI work from an amateur. If you don’t like the ending you have to at least agree that the work presented was of a high quality not usually found on the Tube. Check it out below and let the geek wars rage on! Oh and please indulge in some of the comments on these videos on their Youtube pages. Once again fandom is absolutely a magical, yet hateful thing. You’ve been thinking that as long as your not delusional you know deep down that Hulk couldn’t defeat Superman in battle…
