Take a Look at the World’s First Dual Core Phone – Motorola Atrix 4G

Motorola has released the first video for their upcoming 4G Dual Core smartphone named the Atrix.  Doesn’t the name sound like some marketing genius just dropped the “M” from Matrix?  What the hell is an Atrix anyway?  Regardless of the name this little darling looks super duper cool.  I’m really digging how you can dock it to your PC and Multimedia center.  The PC dock actually looks like it runs a modified version of the Android OS on your computer, which is pretty snazzy.  I’m not to blown away by the multimedia dock, but it’s a nice option to have.  The Atrix qHD screen technology looks promising, but this is a commercial, so it should look good.  I like the finger print reader even if it’s just a gimmick.  I used to have one on my laptop and more often than not it was a nuisance versus an easier way to unlock my desktop, but hopefully the one on the Atrix does the trick.

I’m definitely starting to get the Dual Core 4G smartphone itch, and it’s not because I have crabs.  I can’t wait to see how the next few months unfold for the smartphone industry.  We’ve got LTE phones, dual core processors, iPhones on Verizon, and front facing cameras galore.  Stay tuned for more details!  You’ve been thinking that I go through smartphones like a fat kid goes through the buffet line…
