Thanos Gets the ‘Logan’ Treatment In This Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Parody

Last week the world was treated to an amazing look at Avengers: Infinity War thanks to the release of its final trailer (check out our breakdown). One scene in it also spawned some great fan created content, and that scene is the one of Thanos walking with a little Gamora. BossLogic ran with it and made a Logan style poster based on it, and the Internet exploded. Now, a YouTube has taken things a bit further and recreated the trailer as a Thanos, Logan-style spot for the film.

Darth Blender used clips from the new trailer, as well as from various MCU films to stitch it altogether, but what really sells it is the use of Johnny Cash’s cover of NIN’s “Hurt”. For some reason that music just makes the MCU films and Infinity War seem so much more serious and tense. It also tries to play on the bond between Gamora and Thanos as if it were similar to Logan and X-23.

It’s a fun trailer parody, so head on up above to check it out.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27, 2018.
