It’s no secret that we here at Entertainment Buddha are big fans of the CineFix YouTube channel. The wildy creative and talented geeks that run that channel have laid down some amazing work over the past year, and have created many recurring series that are all worth watching. One of the channel’s best series is its “Homemade Shot for Shot” projects, which feature movie trailers or iconic scenes in the Sweded style. For those unfamiliar with Sweding a movie check out Be Kind Rewind, or try to think back to when you were a kid and acted out your favorite movies on the playground with a group of your friends.

The latest homemade short to be released features The Amazing Spider-Man 2 teaser trailer, and just like the rest of CineFix’s creations it’s highly entertaining and imaginative. Best of all, it really does faithfully recreate the actual trailer, which you can verify with a comparison video after the break.

You just have to appreciate CineFix’s ability to use household items to recreate these big budget trailers for movies that cost a small fortune to make. You probably won’t see a more creative use for cardboard and toys anywhere else on the Internet. Make sure to check out the homemade The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer above, and when you’re done hit up the comparison video and a behind the scenes look at the filming process down below.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.
