The Announcer Announces His Way Through the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Overview Trailer

Nintendo has released a near 8-minute overview trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the entire thing is narrated by the game’s Announcer, so it sounds like a super-long infomercial. But that’s kind of what makes it so awesome! It’s like having him announce a match, but instead he’s announcing what’s going on in the video.

The video is actually pretty informative, especially if you’ve been missing updates on the game. It’s loaded with gameplay looks, character spotlights, and previews of the available arenas. The game really does look to be the best version of Smash to-date, but that’s from a visual standpoint only. Who knows how it’ll play, but knowing Nintendo, I don’t think they’ll fuck it up.

Head on up above to check out the long preview of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The game ships on December 7!
