The ‘Aquaman’ Trailer Gets Recreated With Old School Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Footage

The Darth Blender YouTube channel is becoming the go-to spot for comic book movie trailers being turned into animated versions of themselves. The latest recreation is of the first Aquaman trailer, and the team used a mix of Hanna-Barbera cartoon footage from the late 60’s and early 70’s. In particular, the footage is pulled from the Super Friends animated series, as well as old school Aquaman cartoons.

I must say that this recreation works damn near perfectly in portraying the live-action trailer as a cartoon. The voice parts sync up well enough, and the clips actually do reflect the scenes that were showcased in the live-action trailer. I’m still not sure if Aquaman will be good or not — it’ll at least look neat — but I do know that this fan created animated version of the trailer is quality enough to check out. You can do just that above.
