The Captain Marvel Trailer Has Been Animated Using Older Marvel Cartoons

At this point in time the Darth Blender YouTube channel has become the go-to channel to see modern day pop culture movie trailers get turned into animated versions of themselves. In record time at that!

The first Captain Marvel trailer just dropped on Tuesday, but that didn’t stop the Blender squad from cooking up an animated version for it. To create the trailer, the team used the audio and dialogue from the live-action version, and then repurposed clips from the following animated Marvel shows:

  • Avengers Assemble (2013)
  • Captain Marvel (2019)
  • Ultimate Spider-Man (2012)
  • Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (2010)

I have to say that the animated version does work, because the team found enough scenes from these other shows to fit with the action and dialogue from the live-action trailer. It is pretty amazing to think that a coherent trailer that does feel like the real one, can be crafted from random clips from animated shows.

Head on up above to check it out for yourself.
