The Classically Corny Mortal Kombat Movie Gets a Homemade Trailer

The CineFix YouTube channel has finally released another one of its Homemade branded movie bits, which take scenes from movies, or full on trailers and remakes them using homemade props and zero computer generated special effects. The latest film to get the homemade treatment is the iconically cheesy live action Mortal Kombat film, which may not be a great movie, but it does indeed have one of the best movie theme songs of all time. Go ahead and sing it to yourself, you know you want to!

The best parts of this particular homemade recreation has to be the Goro costume they cooked up, and the a capella version of the catchy theme song. The use of action figures is pretty radical too, so check out the homemade version of the Mortal Kombat movie trailer above! You can check out the comparison version and a behind the scenes featurette for this trailer after the break.
