The Dark Knight Says Bye to Pittsburgh, Video of Hathaway on Bat Pod

Chris Nolan and team have finally wrapped up their shoot in the Steel City this past weekend, and as a thank you to the city they took out a full page ad in the paper to let the Burgh know that they appreciated their time spent there (below).  Honestly, I’m surprised the thank you didn’t read, “Thanks Pittsburgh for spoiling the living sh*t out of this movie, I hope you’re happy you wannabe paparazzi!”  Either way it seems that a ton of work was accomplished while in Pittsburgh, and we as fans got all kinds of goodies to chew on while we wait for this movie to come out next year.

The Bat says Goodbye to Pittsburgh

In the final weekend of shooting a few more videos were taken of the production.  The main allure of these last minute vids is that they feature Anne Hathaway on the Bat Pod for the first time.  Up until now only her stunt double has been seen on the bike, but now that they have it rigged to a camera laden SUV Hathaway has strapped in for her turn on the odd looking motorcycle.  There’s also some more video of the tumbler invasion, and an odd scene with Joseph Gordon-Levitt where you can see Nolan himself giving some direction.  These should be the last images/video coming out of the Pittsburgh shoot for The Dark Knight Rises.  Production now heads to LA and New York.  Check out the last few bits of filming from Pittsburgh below.  You’ve been wondering if the TDKR leaks will continue…
