The Empire Strikes Back if it Were an 80’s Anime Cartoon

If you grew up in the 80’s then you’re aware of some of the most awesomely cheesy cartoons that the decade spawned. G.I Joe, Transformers, and Thundercats are just a few that come to mind when thinking about cartoons from that decade.

YouTube channel Nacho Punch has just released a video for Star Wars: The Lost 1980’s Anime series and it’s nostalgically amazing to say the least. They creators managed to combine anime and 80’s cartoons to make an entertaining parody series that should have existed at some point in this galaxy. If you are familiar with anime cartoons, then you already know that they would not be complete without a mid-air transformation scene and bad lip-synching, which Star Wars: The Lost 1980’s Anime surely has.

Head on down below and check out the video for yourself. Even though the cartoon is a just shy of a minute long, it’s just enough time to make plenty of references to some of the most memorable 80’s cartoons and anime memes.
