The First Word of Star Wars: The Last Jedi Has Been Revealed

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel, Rian Johnson and a good part of his Star Wars: The Last Jedi cast appeared on the show to talk about the film, and during one segment the Director offered up the film’s first word. It’s not clear if this word is the first word in the opening crawl, or spoken dialogue, but it has been revealed none the less. I wouldn’t call it a spoilers whatsoever, but if you want to go in blind, then please don’t watch the video, and don’t proceed further on with this post.

The first word spoken in Star Wars: The Last Jedi is “We’re.” How exciting is that? I’m being sarcastic obviously, but when you eat, sleep, and breath Star Wars, any news is interesting news about the Skywalker saga of films. You can watch the full segment below.

There are also a few other Star Wars: The Last Jedi videos from Kimmel that you can check out after the break.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
