‘The Hobbit’ Gets Delayed Again Due to Peter Jackson’s Illness

It’s starting to seem like ‘The Hobbit’ film project is cursed.  After years of delay the filming of ‘The Hobbit’ was supposed to begin shortly.  That was until Peter Jackson got diagnosed with a perforated ulcer!  Why can’t this film project get off the ground?  Is Tolkien casting some itchy-witchy-cats-ass on the big screen version of his beloved Hobbit novel?  Who really knows, but it feels like this thing is destined to struggle throughout the entire development cycle.  Hopefully Jackson will be alright, because without him there is no Middle Earth on Earth if you catch my drift.  Luckily Deadline Magazine has reported that: “Sir Peter’s surgery is not expected to impact on his directing commitment to The Hobbit beyond a slight delay to the start of filming.”  Let’s hope for the best.  Get will Sir Pete Middle Earth needs you!  You’ve been hoping that this guy doesn’t die anytime soon…
