Warner Bros recently released an updated Google Chrome Experiment video that features the most iconic scenes from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films, leading up to next month’s release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The video takes the viewer on a reminiscent journey from Frodo to Bilbo (or vice versa, depending on how you look at it), and revisits scenes that made audiences around the world fall in love with the Middle-earth dwellers as they encountered various adventures.

The video is also a reminder that the series is coming to an end. We look back through the steps of fate that saw the One Ring land in possession of Frodo and Bilbo, and they’re struggle to resist its powers as they tried to do what was right. We revisit the lengths Gandolf, Aragorn, Legolas, and literally countless others went through to help rid Middle-earth of the One Ring’s wicked powers in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Now we come upon the conclusion to the prequel, as Bilbo takes on a dragon, ghouls, and numerous other enemies all fighting for the sake of power. One Ring to rule them all…
