The King’s Man Teaser Sets Up Origins of The Kingsman

Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman prequel, The King’s Man, got its first teaser today, and it definitely offers up some excitement for fans of the franchise.

The King’s Man looks to be set around World War I, and will tell the tale of how The Kingsman organization came to be. It appears Ralph Fiennes will play the role of its creator, and he will be training the first King’s Man I guess. It also looks like that a bunch of famous faces from history will play the villains, because I’m pretty sure Rasputin is in the teaser fighting with a sword.

If you were hoping to see more of the characters from the first two films, then you may be disappointed, because this movie looks to be a true prequel, and won’t feature the existing cast at all. I’d imagine there may be a stinger at the end that will feature them, or possibly they kick it off with a flashback, but both Colin Firth and Taron Edgerton are absent from this movie’s credits.
