The Last Of Us is a game that exploded into popularity and pop culture upon its release and has seen more than its fair share of fandom. This time around, the emotional intro to the game has been made over in a sort of arcade-ish 8/16-bit style that doesn’t quite capture the same emotion as the real game, but is still a pretty cool homage!

I still haven’t played the game, but if it came out as a side scrolling beat-em-up that looked like this, you can bet your pixelated ass that I’d be all over it in a heartbeat. Check it out below!
