After a big year in movies over the past year, Alicia Vikander’s rise in Hollywood continues. The 27 year-old Swede has been cast as archeological adventurer Lara Croft with the series set to reboot. Vikander recently won an Oscar for her work in 2015’s The Danish Girl, and also starred in Ex Machina and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. She’s set to make appearances in Jason Bourne and The Light Between Oceans, both out later this year. Vikander follows in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie, who brought the video game character to life on the big screen over two films in 2001 and 2003.
