Epic has released the first high resolution map for the new Unreal Tournament and it looks marvelous to say the least. The map came out shortly after Epic revealed that the Unreal Engine 4 would switch to a free to use model, which means anyone with the know how can download the kit and create content for the new Unreal Tournament without having to pay a subscription fee.
Epic posted two screens from the new map, while YouTuber Zaccubus | Gentleman’s Guide To FPS released an in-game video of the map. Everything from the lighting to the textures looks ultra-crisp, providing a glimpse of what the new UE4 can produce graphically. Those interested can freely download Unreal Tournament from Epic games. You just need to create an account with its site and you should be good to go. Don’t forget to check out the new UT in action after the break.
