The Ohio State University’s TBDITL Pays Tribute To The Movies

The Ohio State University does not feature your average marching bad. In fact, in Columbus they’re affectionately known as TBDITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land.) They’ve been known to put on some amazing halftime shows for college football, and if you’ve seen a few recent performances you may feel like they should be doing the Super Bowl halftime show too.

This past Saturday TBDITL was back at it again putting on another memorable show that has since spread through the Internet like a wild fire. Rather than taking on video games (their last viral vid) the OSU marching band took on the movies. Superman and Jurassic Park are just two of the featured movies from this year’s spectacle, which you can watch in full after the break.

Band geeks will definitely appreciate the hard work and precision that goes into these blockbuster halftime performances, but that doesn’t mean it’s only for musical types, so feel free to give it a viewing without fears of being forced to attend band camp. If you like what you see below, then you can check out the MBANDFAN2  YouTube channel, which has various videos of other performances.
