Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases in less than a month. Let that sink in for a moment.

Despite a sticky situation between the series’ creator Hideo Kojima and publisher Konami, The Phantom Pain looks excellent in every way imaginable.

The latest trailer seems oddly prophetic, with titles appearing throughout that seem relevant to both the game’s supposed plot and the current events of Kojima and Konami’s falling out. Whether it’s intention or not remains to be seen, but the trailer is astounding nonetheless.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release on September 1, 2015.
