‘The Predator’ Looks a Bit More Interesting In New Red Band Trailer

20th Century Fox has released a new red band trailer for The Predator, and unlike the first trailer, it definitely feels more like a Predator movie. Having the ability to show the violence and some of the more adult language definitely helps this sequel look much more interesting this time around, so I’m glad the studio opted for the red band approach.

This trailer also hints more at the genetically upgraded Predator(s) we will see, which are members of the species that have used DNA from various species in space to make themselves unstoppable forces of pain. They’re massive in size, making even a standard 7-foot tall Predator appear to be tiny when standing next to them. It looks like these genetic freaks, standard Predators, and humans will all be going at it in The Predator, and if I were a betting man I’d say that the humans will eventually team up with a standard Predator to take down the DNA enhanced one.

You can check out the new trailer above.

About The Predator

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race. In Theaters September 14, 2018.
