After years of waiting and wondering, video game fans can finally rest easy, as information regarding the second Mirror’s Edge game has finally been unveiled.
Two years have passed since developer DICE announced a second Mirror’s Edge project, and today the game’s official title has been revealed.
In a short announcement on the Mirror’s Edge website, senior producer Sara Jansson revealed the game’s name, as well as some additional information regarding the project.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, the name of the upcoming title, is not a sequel to the critically acclaimed first-person title. Instead, as Jansson states, Catalyst will focus on furthering the story of Faith, the first game’s protagonist. What this means for Catalyst remains to be seen, but the website’s recommendation to watch EA’s E3 2015 press conference next Monday indicates that some more information about the game will be revealed shortly.
