The Trilogy Comes Back to The Big Screen and ‘Rogue One’ Casts Its Darth Vader

There’s been no shortage of Star Wars news circulating the film world, and the most recent updates tackle the original trilogy and the upcoming Rogue One film.

Fans of the series will have the opportunity to catch A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in theaters this summer. The films will be shown in 20 cities across the country in classic roadshow styling, courtesy of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. The films can be seen back-to-back, and will provide the opportunity for fans young and old to take in the theatrical experience.

The second bit of news revolves around who is playing Darth Vader in the upcoming Rogue One film. Spencer Wilding has been revealed as the man under the mask, and it’s also been reported that James Earl Jones will reprise his vocal role as the Sith Lord. Wilding is probably best known to this point as the Walkman-stealing guard in Guardians of the Galaxy, and has also appeared on Doctor Who, as well as a White Walker on Game of Thrones.
