Season 7 of The Walking Dead has come and gone, and what started as one of the most horrifying seasons of all-time for any show, ended up finishing with much less of a bang. The season as a whole could just never fully recapture the pure terror and emotion of the premiere, so to me it suffered a bit in the last fifteen episodes. The mid-season return is actually where the season started to get kind of ho-hum-like, and it never really recovered, even in the finale, which we’ve come to expect to be very heartbreaking and cliffhanger-esque.
Well, that’s not what we got in this season’s finale, which was fairly mild until more than halfway through its runtime, but for the most part it provided a nice end cap to the season while setting up Season 8 to be the official war between the resistance groups and Negan’s saviors. For a finale it only had three top moments in my opinion, which you can learn more about in the video below.
After the video you can also watch a season recap from AMC, as well as a farewell to Sasha tribute after the break.
