Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us game is finally headed to the iOS app store, and should be available sometime this evening, so don’t go looking for it quite yet. The first episode will cost $4.99, and when you buy it you can choose to unlock the season pass from within the app to get access to episodes 2-5 for $14.99. Both are great deals if you’re familiar with Telltale’s work, especially its GOTY winning The Walking Dead game, which is getting a sequel later this month.

To help kick off The Wolf Among Us’ iOS release the devs at Telltale made a little behind the scenes video to talk about their work on the series. They offer insights into the Fables comic books that the game is based on, and why they took certain directions while developing it. It’s a great introspective look at how Telltale operates when it comes to creating story-based games that feature more dialogue than action. While you wait for The Wolf Among Us to become available on the App Store why don’t you head down past the break to check out Telltale’s ‘Exploring the World of Fables’ dev diary.
