Theories On What Star Wars Episode 8’s Red Colored ‘The Last Jedi’ Title Could Mean

Star Wars fans across the globe were treated to a fantastic reveal this morning thanks to the fact that Lucasfilm finally announced the official title for Star Wars Episode VII, which we now know is called Star Wars: The Last Jedi. A few curious things about this title got me thinking what it could be implying, so I took to the YT and created a theories/speculation video on what ‘The Last Jedi’ may be all about.

There are two things to note with this title that make it very curious. First off, the text is in red, which has only been done for Revenge of the Sith, and Return of the Jedi, so it could be implying some sort of doom, or major turn for a Skywalker character. Secondly, the word Jedi can also be plural, so while we may instantly think the title is about Luke, or possibly Rey if Luke dies, it could be implying that they’re also forming a group of the last Jedi. That is probably a stretch, but it is something worth thinking about.

Please head on up above to watch the full video, which will only take up about 5-minutes of your time.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15, 2017.
