These Lightsaber Variants Make The Force Awakens’ Tri-Blade Look Safe

The happy hour YouTube channel has created a hilarious parody for Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser, specifically the part where Kylo Ren’s rad looking lightsaber ignites.

Many fans have an issue with the design of the blade thinking that it could be detrimental to the force user that wields it, namely for the blades on the hilt. Personally, I don’t see how the hilt blades could do anything but protect the wielder, considering that many  sword designs from the medieval era had similar hilts, but that’s why geeks are great because we can bitch about pretty much anything and none of our arguments pertain to real life topics.

Anyway, the Happy Hour cartoon offers up even nuttier lightsaber designs that range from maces to hula hoops, and as one would think these radical designs don’t bode well for the warriors wielding them. Check out all of the hilarious lightsaber variant action above and let us know what you think by leaving a comment down below.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18, 2015.
