This Bootleg Power Rangers Short is Full of Gore and Ass Kicking

Adi Shankar has posted what could be the greatest Mighty Morphin Power Rangers short of all-time on YouTube. Directed by Joseph Kahn and starring Katee Sachoff and James Van Der Beek, Power/Rangers has to be the grittiest, most violent take on the Power Rangers franchise, which is known for its horrible special effects and cheesy acting.

Shankar and Kahn are legit Hollywood professionals, who according to HitFlix, made this “bootleg” to spoof the whole “dark and gritty” reboot movement in Tinsel Town, and not really to lampoon the Power Rangers. I don’t care what it is, but I can tell you it’s awesomely violent and enjoyable to watch, so check it out above and let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.

You also can check out why the team made the movie in a video of Shankar speaking about it after the break.
