This Stop Motion Superfight Epitomizes Creative Cinematography

Stop Motion cinematography is one of my favorite forms of storytelling, so the latest video from Corridor is right up my alley thanks to its excellent execution of the filming technique. It’s easily one of the most creative uses of stop motion recording that I’ve ever seen, and I’ve watched a ton of these types of videos thanks to our mission of mining the Internet for web gems and viral gold.

What sets this stop motion video apart is the fact that they used it to create the illusion that gravity could be manipulated. To do this the whole short was filmed on the ground with a camera hanging from the ceiling so they could stage each and every shot to create the desired effect.
