Time Lapsed Australian Night Sky Brings a New Definition to Serenity

The environment that we have left on this planet is something that needs to be appreciated more regularly than it already is.  Yes it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the city life, but sometimes I think those of us that live in the concrete jungles forget how magnificent a night sky, a beach, or even some rocks can be.

Luckily for us urbanites there’s people like Alex Cherney to remind us of how awesome Mother Nature can be when she’s left unscathed from human progress.  He took over 30 hours of footage from a beach in Australia and time-lapsed it to highlight the beauty of what the film captured.  The project took him a year to complete, but the end result is one of the most serene landscapes I’ve ever seen.  I think I could stare at his video for hours on end.  It’s just pure awesomeness.  Check it out below.  You’ve always known that one day we’ll f*ck sh*t up enough that videos like this won’t even be a possibility…
