Respawn has released details for a new game mode coming to Titanfall 2 called Live Fire. In a Live Fire match teams of six pilots will square off in a lightning fast match that only lasts 60 seconds. The mode sounds very similar to the Breakout mode in Halo 5 where you and three other spartans square off against another team of spartans in a fight to the finish, or if you’re sneaky enough the match could be ended by stealing a centrally located flag.

This is pretty much what will be going down in Live Fire, albeit with even faster paced matches. The mode will also introduce two new maps, which have been designed to keep these matches tight and frenetic. The update should go live next month, and it will be free to download. You can check out some screenshots for the new mode below, as well as a roadmap for Titanfall 2’s upcoming free DLC drops.
