Titanfall Alpha Test Application Now Live for Origin Users

Combat on all levels.

The gaming world is buzzing at the moment thanks to the news that a Titanfall alpha is in the works. What first started as a rumor thanks to twitter user Lazar Odic, has now all but been confirmed by IGN, Polygon, and myself.

According to Odic’s tweet, emails have been going out to certain Origin users informing them that they have been chosen “to take part in an exclusive trial for an upcoming title on Microsoft’s Xbox One.” After clicking on the registration link in the email these lucky users were directed to the official Titanfall alpha registration page, which seemingly allows anyone with an Origin account to at least register for a chance to get in on the test.

I punched in my account details, and sure enough, I received confirmation that my account is eligible for the beta. Based on the information it doesn’t seem like registering will guarantee access, but at least you’ll know that you’re in the running. You can view screenshots of the sign-up process below for proof. Hopefully EA and Respawn will come out and officially confirm this alpha to add even more validity to the report.

Titanfall is set to release on March 11, 2014 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
