CineFix is dusting off all of its old web gem style series this week thanks to the return of the channel’s Homemade Movies, and now today its 8-bit Cinema series. If you’ve never seen one of these creations you’re in for a treat, because they portray a pop culture film or TV show using 8 and 16-bit video game technology, which results in an awesome mini-re-telling of the film or show’s plot.

The latest movie to get turned into an old school game is TMNT 2: Out of the Shadows. This one works especially well considering how many Turtles games released during the 8 and 16-bit eras. It’s better than the actual movie, so head on up above to check it out.
