Tomb Raider: The Art and of the Making of the Film Book Review

Titan Books has recently released a new movie art book, and it’s for the rebooted Tomb Raider film starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. Like most Titan Books art books, it features high-quality glossy pages, and plenty of interesting content that both film making buffs, and fans of the Tomb Raider franchise will enjoy.

There are 176 pages in total, and they cover the film’s four main acts. You’ll get to see concept art and production notes from Lara’s introduction, as well as her journey on the Endurance, and finally her adventure on the island and its secret tomb. Each section has behind-the-scenes coverage for how the scenes were shot, as well as notes on why the creative direction went the way it did in the final film. There’s also plenty of artist renderings to look over, as well as shots of the film’s props, and it’s scene setups. It really is loaded with great inside looks at Tomb Raider’s production, so if you enjoyed the film, or just like art books, you should check out the full review below.
