Activision has released a playable demo for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron on XBL and PSN that features both a single player and multiplayer demo.  This is now available to download, so fire up your console of choice and get your Transformer on.  For the full details on this demo please read the official press release below.  You’ve been liking what High Moon Studios has done with the Transformer license…

Greetings fellow Cybertronians,

The full, legendary Transformers: Fall ofCybertron saga begins on August 21st when the game hits retail stores…but before that, we want to let you know about our downloadable demo available now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network.

This feature-packed demo gives fans the opportunity to sample both single AND multi-player modes in Transformers: Fall ofCybertron.  Gamers can experience the explosive first mission as Bumblebee desperately battles to save the Autobot starship under heavy attack from Megatron and the Decepticons.  Players will also get to take control of Vortex in a non-linear assault mission, changing from chopper-to-jet-to-robot however they please while engaging in blistering firefights on the ground and in the air.  As if that wasn’t enough, theTransformers: Fall ofCybertron demo also allows fans to get a taste of the game’s robust Transformers character customizer, and take their newly created bots straight into Team Deathmatch and Conquest online multiplayer modes.

In order to provide the best experience for gamers at launch, High Moon Studios will be carefully monitoring the multiplayer action for player feedback and balancing data.  Fans are invited and strongly encouraged to direct their comments to the team’s Twitter account: @FallofCybertron,  https://twitter.com/FallofCybertron.

Transformers: Fall ofCybertron will hit retail stores here in the U.S. on August 21st. For more information and updates, fans can visit www.facebook.com/TransformersGame andwww.TransformersGame.com.
