Tyranny Scratches that Isometric RPG Itch

When it comes to CRPGs, Obsidian Entertainment are the best in the business.

The Irvine, California-based studio has a long history of developing some of the most revered role-playing games of all time. From Neverwinter Knights 2 to 2014’s Pillars of Eternity, the name Obsidian is inexorably linked to solid RPGs.

Today, Obsidian revealed Tyranny, an all-new isometric role-playing game.

The game’s official reveal trailer (above) has some great comic-inspired visuals and some impressive character models to boot.

Though the trailer is just a small slice of what to expect from Tyranny, I’d be lying if I said that the game’s tagline — “sometimes evil wins” — doesn’t have my interest piqued.
