Video: The History of Console Gaming
Smashing Joysticks have put together a nice little video retrospective of all of the consoles in the history of gaming. That’s at least what they claim, but I think some of the consoles of the past were missing. Either way it’s a cool little trip down memory lane for those of us that started gaming before there was even a genre known as FPS. I definitely owned most of these at one point in time, and I still have most of the consoles laying around for posterity, so it was enjoyable to see them in action once again. I can only imagine what a video like this will look like in another 20 years? Gaming in real life anyone? You’ve been needing a history lesson that doesn’t suck…
