NVIDIA has announced a new GeForce eSports 3v3 World of Tanks tournament division today, working in conjunction with Wargaming.net. The tournament will pay out over 1 million in Wargaming gold to the top teams, as well as cash and hardware donations to various veteran charities.

Registration for 3-tank teams runs through October 4th, and the tournament is slated to begin October 7th. The final round of the tournament is set for Veteran’s Day, November 11th, and will be streamed live through Twitch.tv.

The World of Tanks theme for the tournament fits perfectly with the donations to veterans’ charities that will receive donations.

James Grunke, NVIDIA’s director of global eSports, elaborated on the veterans’ donations, stating: “NVIDIA and Wargaming.net will match dollar for dollar up to $5000 for every registrant who joins the competition, resulting in a $10,000 donation to veteran’s charity organizations…”
