Wargaming Puts Tanks on the Moon and Warships in Pac-Man for April Fools’
Wargaming has a double dose of April Fools’ pranks for fans of its World of Tanks game, and the upcoming World of Warships title.
For World of Tanks on consoles players will be able to travel to the moon and do some battling starting on April 3 and running through the 5th. On the 3rd starting at 1pm EST players will find a special M-24 Chaffee tank in their garage that is equipped to do battle on the Moon River map. Players will also have lasers rather than a cannon for this mode, and since the moon’s gravity is one-sixth of Earth’s the tanks will be able to score some big air moments followed by even bigger landings. If this sounds like something you want to experience, make sure to log into World of Tanks on the Xbox 360 sometime this weekend.
In addition to the Lunar Mode for World of Tanks, Wargaming has also created a browser game for World of Warships that plays very similarly to Pac-Man, which you can now freely play. Links for the game can be found below, as well as some screenshots of both April Fools’ Day additions to the Wargaming family. You can check out the Lunar Mode in action by watching the trailer for it above.
