Watch Battlefield 3 Running on the PS3 at 30 FPS

DICE finally showed gamers what they can expect to see while playing Battlefield 3 on a console.  Up until this point the only footage seen for Battlefield 3 has been from a mega PC rig, so now console gamers can see what this beauty of a game can do on their hardware.  DICE showed off the footage during Jimmy Fallon’s videogame week, and from the looks of things console gamers shouldn’t have much to worry about.  The biggest difference between the console version, and the PC version will be the frame rate, which will be halved on the consoles at 30 FPS.  When asked about the frame rate loss DICE’s Johan Andersson said, “We always do 30 fps on consoles, not possible to fit in vehicles, fx, scale and all players otherwise.”

It is what it is right?  From the video below I think B3 looks fine, so I’m going to be content, but I know some gamers out there will have a hard decision when it comes down to what platform to buy this game for in October.  Luckily, I don’t own a super rig, so my decision will be simple.  How about you?  You’ve been still thinking this is one of the prettiest games you’ve ever seen…
