Watch: Dead Space 3 Gets Co-Op Kinect Support on the Xbox 360

EA has released a new trailer and some screenshots for Dead Space 3 to announce the new kinect support for the game’s co-op mode.  Just like Mass Effect 3 Xbox 360 gamers will be able to issue voice commands to their partner to help support them in their fight against the Necromorphs.  I actually enjoyed the kinect functionality in ME3, so I’m down with Visceral’s decision to add voice controls.  You can check out the latest trailer after the break, as well as some new screenshots from the Ice demo.  You’ve been wondering how many haters will come out against this move…

Dead Space 3 Co-op Kinect Details

“The voice commands in Dead Space 3 give players a unique way to take down the terror, whether they choose to face the Necromorphs alone in single-player, or alongside a friend with drop-in / drop-out co-op,” said Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer on Dead Space 3 and VP, General Manager of Visceral Games.  “Dead Space 3 delivers the action-horror experience our fans have come to know and love. And with the ability to survive the adventure alone, with a friend, or with Kinect, we’re excited about extending the spine-tingling Dead Space experience to a whole new audience of players.”
