The highly anticipated title from Ubisoft, Watch Dogs, is set to release in just under two weeks and in order to further build excitement for the open-world, hacker-inspired title, a new video has been released showcasing real world versions of the game’s hacking skills.

In the video, unsuspecting people are given a strange gift from a seemingly normal phone repair technician. Simple in premise, what comes next is truly astounding, as the worker shows his customers the true power of what he has done to their phones.

Between blowing up streetlights and hacking into ATMs, watching the look on the customers who think that they now have a magical phone is priceless. The video culminates in a police interrogation where the officers reveal that every single thing that they have done with their phone throughout the video is possible to do in Watch Dogs.

It’s safe to assume that this stunt sold a few more copies of the game.

Watch Dogs releases internationally on May 27, 2014 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
