Watch Footage From Curiosity’s Mars Landing

Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory has posted a short video of the Curiosity landing on Mars as seen from the eyes of the rover.  The video is actually 297 thumbnails strung together, but the stop motion effect is still a great look at an impressive adventure taking place on the Red Planet.  These images were received yesterday (8/6), which is also an incredible feat considering that Curiosity is something like a gazillion miles away.

Supposedly once Curiosity deploys its HD cameras the quality of its paparazzi work will improve greatly.  Regardless, anything we receive from Mars is cool with me.  Check out Curiosity’s Mars landing below.  You’ve been wondering if it will find any Transformers…
