Total War: Attila is the new(ish) Total War game that acts as a standalone follow-on from Rome II. In this new entry to the Total War franchise, the Roman Empire is a bloated mess, and the barbarians are being their usual selves. 400 AD was a rough time, and the Dark Ages that followed were no different.

The Creative Assembly evidentially plans to convey an apocalyptic world to the players, as the crumbling Roman Empire clings on to power, as the barbarian hordes rain down on them.

This new trailer focuses less on Attila, and more on the divided Roman Empires. And although titled a cinematic trailer, the trailer footage is from the actual in-game engine, which is called the ‘Attila Engine’.

Total War: Attila will be releasing sometime in 2015 for PC.
