WB Releases Official Suicide Squad SDCC Trailer and It’s Light on Joker

Earlier we posted the leaked versions of the Suicide Squad, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Deadpool trailers that were shown off at SDCC 2015, but now we have the official version of the Suicide Squad preview so you don’t have to watch the crappy one.

For all the hubbub surrounding Jared Leto’s Joker I found it odd that he hardly makes an appearance in the first trailer with only a brief appearance towards the end, but the other members, especially Harley and Deadshot, get plenty of screen time. I think I need to watch it a few more times to fully gauge my interest in the project, but after my initial viewing I’m not super excited about it, which has been my feeling all along for Suicide Squad. I’m sure it will be a fine DC Comics film, I just don’t have much reference for most of the members of the Squad to have a vested interest at this point.

We will all find out if this flick is any good or not next August when it releases on the 5th, so stay tuned for the inevitable flood of updates over the coming year.
