We Happy Few’s Uncle Jack Keeps Reading as Linux, Mac Versions Confirmed

A whole lot is happening over in Compulsion Games’ camp. Fresh off of successfully hitting their funding goal for We Happy Few on Monday, Compulsion have announced that a Linux and Mac version of the game will also be released.

In addition to stream of great We Happy Few announcements, Uncle Jack has reared his painted head once more, continuing his live-action reading of bedtime stories. The newly released video, seen above, concludes “The Pied Piper of Hamlyn.”

While the story itself might be familiar to many, Uncle Jack narrates the tale with a kind of charismatic calm that somehow manages to be unsettling. Couple his voice work with the strangely painted face of Jack (and other Wellington Wells citizens) and you’ve got a recipe for the very definition of an unreliable narrator.

Stay tuned for more updates and information as We Happy Few wraps up its Kickstarter campaign this week.
