What a Lovely Day – Mad Max: Fury Road Gets Remade as an 8-bit Video Game

The CineFix YouTube channel has released its latest gamified 8-bit version of a popular film, and this time around Mad Max: Fury Road gets the retro video game treatment.

This instant action movie classic is reimagined as an old school video game, and does quite well at retelling the main plot points of the movie. I can usually pick out the video games used to bring these awesome web gems to life, but I can’t quite nail down which titles were used to bring Fury Road to the land of retro pixelated video game visuals. Either way if this were a real game I’d buy it in a heartbeat, and the same can be said if it were an actual movie.

These gamifications of popular movies are too great to pass up, so head on up above to see what Mad Max: Fury Road would have looked like if it were a video game from the 80’s. Just wait until you see the 8-bit Doof Warrior!
