What Gamers Want for the Week of 7-4-16: New Video Game Releases

It’s a holiday week this week, so the new video game release lineup is a bit weak, but not completely devoid of potential new games to play. What’s great about this week’s new releases is that some of them will be free if you’re a PS+ subscriber or an XBL Gold Subscriber.

For example, Furi is coming out this week, but can be downloaded for free on the PS4 if you have PS+. The Banner Saga 2 also hits the PS4, but it’s also free on the Xbox One if you are a Gold subscriber.

The new industry darling Inside releases for PC this week too alongside a ton of Indie PC titles, which you can view below.

Our Recommendation

Go for the free titles this week, because even if you don’t enjoy them they won’t set your wallet back. If you want to spend money then go for Inside on PC, or the collector’s edition of Rocket League for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
