The PlayStation family of consoles are definitely getting a few worthy new releases this week, so if you own a PS3 or a PS4 you better crack open that piggy bank, because there are more than a few games to consider buying for your Sony hardware.

Notable releases for the PS3 include Tales of Xilia 2, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, CounterSpy, and Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition. It should be noted that PvZ:GW, CounterSpy, and D3 are also releasing for the PS4, and D3 is also headed to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The PS4 is also getting Hotline Miami and The Last Tinker: City of Colors, which are two great indie titles worth checking out if you haven’t already played them.

The only other platform getting a few notable releases is PC, which will receive Shadowgate and Hatoful Boyfriend this week.

Our Recommendation

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a surprisingly fun class based multiplayer game, so it’s definitely worth a go if you haven’t played it on the Xbox One or Xbox 360. Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition is a no brainer buy especially if you’ve managed not to play it on PC, PS3, or Xbox 360. If you’re into indies then Hotline Miami and The Last Tinker: City of Colors may suit your fancy.
