This week is the official start of the fall 2015 AAA video game release rush, so brace your wallet for more than a few must-play games coming out this week. The most notable new video game releases are Disney Infinity 3.0, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Mad Max. The first two have been trending well in the review scene, and the third was fun to play at E3, so each one merits a serious look at being purchased.

There are also plenty of indie releases, and re-releases on new platforms too, all of which you can see below. Just remember that from here until December there should be at least one new video game releasing each week that you should probably play, so spend wisely, and schedule your game time accordingly.

Our Recommendation

It’s hard to pass up DI 3.0, Mad Max, and of course MGSV: The Phantom Pain, but buying all three warrants a serious amount of cash, so choose wisely. If you’re a die hard Metal Gear fan then your choice is clear. If you love collecting badass action figures that can also be played in a video game, or have young gamers in the house, then DI 3.0 is the way to go. If you like open world games with a focus on vehicular combat, then you should consider Mad Max.

Personally, I’m going for all three, but not all this week. I’ll start with DI 3.0 and go from there. Damn it’s going to be a busy few months!
