There’s a little game coming out this week called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that I’d imagine a few geeks have on their hit list for new games to buy, but that’s not the only must-have title coming out this week. In addition to the Mw3 juggernaut launching tomorrow, another high profile franchise is also releasing a follow up title on 11.11.11 in Skyrim, which is the fifth entry in the Elder Scrolls series. If neither of those big time gaming franchises tickle your fancy, you might want to try out the Metal Gear Solid HD pack, or the Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 title if you’ve got some smaller gamers in your household.
There’s also some decent Blu-ray releases this week with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 leading the pack. I hope you’ve been saving your pennies, because this week is going to be a costly one if you want to keep up with the Joneses. You’ve been needing mo money, mo money, mo money…
Video Game Releases for the week of 11/7/11
Hey, guess what? Modern Warfare 3 comes out tomorrow, and it’ll probably sell a gajillion copies. If the king of the FPS genre doesn’t get you all chubbed up you may want to pick up Skyrim, which comes out this Friday. If you’re looking for something a little less intense you may want to give the Lego franchise another chance with the continuation of their Harry Potter series. If you’re looking to go nostalgic you could pick up the Metal Gear Solid HD pack, which is a comprehensive collection of the MSG franchise titles that have only been available on the Playstation platform. I think it’s safe to say that this week could wreak havoc on gamer’s wallets, because there are many high quality options that will be causing gamers to tune out of society. As always you can purchase any of the recommended games by clicking on their images below.
Blu-ray/DVD Releases for the week of 11/7/11
The final piece to the Harry Potter film franchise at home will be unveiled this Friday with the release of Deathly Hallows Part 2. On top of that beast the YouTube project Life in a Day sponsored by the Scott brothers also hits stores this week, so if you have any money left over after hitting your local game store you could easily get rid of it on one of these two titles.
